So today i have done a few more bits,
I have fitted the battery tray out of my anni and fitted a stock battery as the odyssey was dead, now that it has learned the idle its much easier to drive, i tried to adjust the the handbrake but the drivers side handbrake just wasn't working, but then i found out that the cable wasn't connected to the caliper, popped that on and re adjusted the cables and rear calipers and the handbrake now works awesome, also adjusted the exhaust a bit only to find the threads on the v band clamp for mid pipe weren't really there anymore so it couldn't be done up tight, luckily we had a couple in stock along with some better flanges that have a seat in them so i can use them for when i make a new exhaust sometime in the future and used the v band so i can tighten the exhaust up.
Also shoved it on the wheel aligner to find out that it was out, gave it a few quick tweeks and it new seems to drive much nicer

Also gutted out the rear seats and parcel shelf and fitted my luke harnesses, now feel much more held in, yes i know it doesn't have a cage but saabs are renown for being built like tanks, its on the list for years to come but not at the mo.

All these wee adjustments will make a difference to the car..
Might not affect you so much but I do like to see harness straps crossed at rear to pull on opposite shoulders, it's maybe just an FIA thing...
Locating the battery behind the passenger seat would be ideal for weight distribution.. and keeps it low down..

Coming on! Thanks for posting the updates, looking good.

As Mike says, harness straps better crossed like this

Agree with you re cage. 9000 very strong A pillars etc, and if you are not going in for competition, you can leave it for now I would think. - same as mine. Save money and weight.
Put on yer wish list

You shed all that weight and then you invite a porky passenger on board?

And fitted my dash cams, it's all done now, just got to get my shizzle together, apparently it's going to be light rain for most of Tuesday so I doubt traction will be happening, so I'm taking the road wheels just incase so I can have some water disposal.

Yeah was a good day yesterday, was flying and car performed amazingly, but sadly in the afternoon the exhaust manifold cracked round by the collector and the turbo unwound itself, still used it in the afternoon but it wasn't as quick as in the morning and very laggy, but it still survived all days abuse and drove home at the end of the day.

I have to say it drives fantastic, handles amazing and doesn't need anything doing there, but only thing I found is that it could do with a quicker steering rack which will be a project for the future, and a gearbox cooler as the temps where about 100c in the morning after a 20min session only to come in to cool it down.
