Thanks wicker man.

Terry, I tried some groundnut oil on the bottom of the bumper in the end.
Time will tell how long that lasts.

Not really Jay.
Passed MOT straight through in October.
Not changed anything really.

Son got me a nice car cover for Birthday.
It'll park up for a week sometimes and have a very annoying big tree that puts leaves and sap on it depending on the time of year, then there's the bird carp.

Cover hasn't came off yet, had a bit of wind, it is made for the 9-3 SS.
Has ties on wheels, one underneath and elastic is good.

Did take a couple of pics for the Calendar.

Fitted new wheel centers.
Fitted new gearstick gaiter.
Son got me it a while back but read how you need to cut the old gear knob off and didn't bother with it.

Today we were giving it a full clean inside he said "I bet you could cut the new gaiter and fit it on"
Have heard about people unstitch gaiter and then restitch when it's on.

His way worked fine and looks good.
Will put pics on later if any interest in them.

Had a go at the headlights, well one of them.
Using various grades of wet and dry and then T-Cut and then Meguiars ultimate polish.

Came up a lot better.

To start with.

Had these Pioneer speakers sitting in a drawer for ages so thought I would fit them.
Have dusted them off now.
They are more powerful and 3 way.

Made up a couple of connectors.

I did the same to fill the holes and replace the rear speakers. I feel like I need an amp now though to get the full range into them.

What do you think?

Have started a thread about fitting an amp for a sub, you might not have seen it.
The speakers can now handle the factory fitted amp.
Have set it so there's a little more power at the back with the fader.
The other rear speakers are handling it well.
It's loud but need some bass.

Got the filter changed yesterday and had to get a new battery.

Thanks to sounds for advising me to get the tool.
