Had it a few weeks now.
Not bad for an 11 year old car.
Has some chips that need sorting , mainly on the bonnet .
Has short MOT and will need front springs, 2 front tyres soon, needs front discs, that's why it was cheap .
On the plus it has full service history and lots of receipts.
Battery died so got a new one.

I got lucky with mine mate and had the springs, dampers & strut brace 2nd hand. Try Neos for any parts, they've always come up trumps for me.

For your brakes Mtec make decent discs for a good price, Neos sell yellow stuff (also good price!!) Stick some decent fluid in and maybe look at HEL lines and it'll be a massive improvement over stock.

I'd love bum warmers in mine!!! Looks a right faff to fit though :(

Pretty sure you've got the full 13 speaker set up there with icm3, AMP 1 under passenger seat & AMP2 behind r/h boot cover (massive bonus on these as the 4 & 7 speaker set up is pants)

Dai, when it was made they ticked the boxes.
I will look about for those shocks.

The front brakes are hardly worn and are drilled/grooved.
Just warped.
Receipt of £100 just for the discs.
Going to see local engineering place to see if they could have a bit of a skim.

Totally out of ICE these days but the system does very well for a standard system.

You got a thread on here?
Would like to see it.

Looks like it's got all the extras, I'd be well happy with that. My mates old vector sport was the same, looks like everybox got ticked. Much more kit than mine :wall:
Little bit of deadening in the front doors & parcel shelf will make the world of difference. Wouldn't go too mad tho, there's a right :cen: idiot on here somewhere who's ripped his to bits and deadened everywhere....

Here's mine below. Should have it back Thursday (he says!!!!!)

It's a 2.5" system but looks like it's got a year left at most.
It's mild steel.

Need to know, went to get a touch up paint for my car.
He looked at it and said it's Chilli Red and made a touch up for me.
Not tried it yet but it looks way too dark?

Chili Red is a mica/metallic. Is your car a solid Laser Red?

The colour tat your car left the factory is a three digit code. Look inside the glovebox lid.

Chili Red is Body Colour 294
Laser Red is Body Colour 278

Do you think the grille surrounds would look better in black?

Yes :D

Looks lovely in that colour and those wheels suit it - looks newer than a 11yr old car because of them imo.

Thanks Mark.

Started on the springs, now waiting for discs.

Decided on normal solid discs, not drilled etc.

Tested the spring compressors that my Son got as a present for Birthday.

No didn't tape the cardboard to the floor....had been using it for painting.

Really like this, never seen one in red before but looks well. Wheels remind me of Porsche lobsters and they look awesome! Not a huge fan of the spoiler but each to there own!

You know what Paul, I wouldn't have gone for a red one but glad I did now.
