Why a mongrel i here you say....

well it started out as a 8v turbo until Mr John Saab transplanted a 16v turbo engine and gearbox with 9000 2.3 injectors also im thinking a bigger down pipe. The ECU was changed to...

The car goes like stink boosting well into the red on the dash gauge...

The bonnet needs replacing as rust has got the better of it a few marks on the body as to be expected for its age..
The dash is not cracked and the headlining is good BUT needs a good clean..,
Doors are all good as is the drive shaft tunnels (THANK GOD)....

Bits of surface rust in the engine bay but will soon be done as you know what i am like with engine bays...
Plans are to clean Blanco up and enjoy driving him for the time being...

I have changed the oil and given him some new plugs dizzy cap and rotor arm which has made a difference to the drive...

Not had much time to do as many jobs as i wanted because the summer is my busiest time work wise
BUT the engine bay is looking good plenty of RED in there...
Will load up more photos asap...

I've got the files/ pics for the 900 set. I've asked the supplier on ebay if he would produce them.

You'll be able to replace all of the trim with 5m with a little left over.

Bit of an update of some of the things i have been messing with on the car....

I have re undersealed all the car including the wheel arches...

Fitted a boost gauge on the dash...

the rear exhaust twin out let i had given me from a very nice couple at the Limes meet....

Also had some more red touches in the engine bay...

NOW DO NOT LAUGH but i purchased a leather interior (very nice) BUT from a later model and in would not fit....(dumb ass i know)...
so had to sell on and i got hold of some very nice seats from a very low millage car which i am pleased with...

Some pics of the work....

Found the prancing moose stickers i had which was going on Oscar but never fitted...I think they stand out more on white than the red of Oscar...

Still have to fit the chrome strips on the bumpers and side moldings...

The body work will be done next year...

nice motor i like these alot curlys suit this shape more than other shapes

i just painted by b202 cam cover with plasticoat metalic as halfords had 2 cans for a quid each pink then purple came out well good
very strange watching it spray on as it seems not like any other paint ive sprayed before seems to run off the surface but not make a mess very strange paint

the tidy engine makes you look strait at the expansion bottle ive just cleaned a 9000 one and its come up very clean

No pics yet but i have re done the chrome strips on the bumpers and well pleased with the results...

looks like i need a new slave cylinder as i had to get the clutch bled so hoping blanco makes the limes tomorrow...

Also removed the rear parcel shelf as it sagged due to age and someone fitting 6x9s (lot of weight in them)...
will be using the old one as a template and make a new one out of mdf...
