So a track day was booked at croft as a birthday present and the race was on to get the 99 ready for its outing.

MOT sorted with minor welding to the front tunnel.

Nice one, Rob!

How did it fare against the more modern machinery out there? :corn:

It was awesome!!!!!

Much quicker round than my friends focus rs so was really chuffed. Loads of people over to ask about etc!!

Need to sort out a bias pedal box as still has a slight tendency to lock a rear of a bit damp also looks as though a little too much front negative camber so will reduce a bit also which I think will also help straight line stuff

Then can up the boost a bit more

I'm not sure if it was you or your Dad all those years ago at Croft that followed me through the esses and Barcroft, probably your Dad, but the back of our C900 also gets a bit light under braking...that's with 9000 calipers up front, so nothing like your big AP jobbies. I had quite a lurid slide as I tried to scrub some speed off into the Sunny double apex complex - the grey car was on R888s and I was on regular road tyres so I needed to lose more speed - I believe it was quite alarming from behind!

Was easy enough to hold with just a dab of oppie into Sunny. I felt like Stig, but definitely more by luck than judgement

That was in the dry, the weight transfer in the wet session didn't seem to be as big an issue because the front would lock up more easily.

Was making for some great trail braking but being able to turn that down a little would be good. I’m trying to weigh up either putting duel master cylinders with bias bar on the original pedal box or fabricate a brand new box under the dash so there’s not so many levers everywhere

It’s quite a contraption the std setup for right hand drive

Given this is primarily a track car and not a road car, the diagonal split is probably more of a hindrance - maybe best to go for a dual master plus bias bar approach for front & rear. Then you have the adjustability.

As suggested - I've done away with the servo and diagonal spit and made up a balance bar setup:

Hopefully will manage to fit to the car soon.........

I was going to suggest not bothering with a balance bar as it needs quite a lot of work to make fit, and go for a proportioning valve on the rears instead (after switching to a front/rear split instead of the diagonal).

But the balance bar box you've fitted looks really good.

So also wasn't happy with the transplanted loom from a 9000 so Ive been building a new one using SPEC55 wire. Intergrated Wideband, EGT, Trans and Oil temp, Oil pressure, CANUSB, and Deutsch connectors for the dash

First made a string template then made a schematic and a loom board
