Hi everyone,

I'm new here so I hope i'm posting this in the right place.

I'm a 24 year old driver currently looking at buying my next car, either a 2001-2005 saab 9-5 or a saab 9-3 coupe.

I'm aware of the oil sludge problem on the 9-5, but what else do I need to look out for before making a purchase? I was looking at a 2001 saab 9-5 SE, 51,000 on the clock. I have also been looking at the Saab HOT Aero for that extra power. Is getting into the saab game a wise decision in 2019?

I am keen to do some general modifications to it, how do people find sourcing parts ect?

Really, any stories, opinions or advice you guys can offer on this era of saabs will be priceless, so thanks for the help!
