Hi

I'm a Saab owner from Estonia. Got my license in '07 and my first Saab in '08. Back then I didn't know much about Saabs, just that there weren't many around, they looked cool, had turbocharged versions and were really safe. So, got myself a '94 9000 2.3 LPT and have driven Saabs since. Have had four different ones, still own three of them and 2/3 are drivers. I also have a Volvo, because AWD, turbo, snow and there is nothing like Swedish steel. But what makes me smile the most, is my current tuned '03 Saab 9-5 Aero, with a manual box.

Not a mechanic, but when it comes to cars, learn it and the then DIY. Owning Saabs has made me that way. At times it can be annoying, but also extremely rewarding.

Here for info and ideas. At times can be a lousy forum user, tend to forget that I have a account and should share my knowledge if I have something worth sharing. Sorry if that happens. English is not my first language, so if something is unclear, let me know and I'll try to explain myself further.

I also feel like I might want to share some of my Saab stories. Like, how my first 9k LPT actually turned out to be tuned by Hirsch. Those three extra gauges replacing the ashtray and blow-off should have been a dead give away...
And that's where it all begun..

Martti

Welcome to UKS

I'd beg to differ on your opinion of grasping the language. I for one, understand everything in the above. :D

Thanks!

I think I'm going the head on and make a new topic in the Your Cars section. If I have questions about something regarding tuning or mechanics, should I post them on Saab Garage sections or my car "blog"?

You'll get a better response in the garage for specific questions.
