Thought it would be a good idea to give restoring a 21 year old saab a go. It was bugging me so much walking past and seeing this car waisted on a random driveway sitting for 9 years but seeing potential under the dirt and cobwebs I've gave it a go.well I'll reframe that-I gave it a tow :D 900 s convertible auto, immaculate Body work and only 2 previous owners and under 60 k on the clock-short only a hundred quid.big smile, gonna need a bit of help in some areas as 9 years for any car sitting is a possible disaster,so far I've spent only 2 hrs on it and managed to start and unsieze rear brakes, still haven't drained and renewed fluids and need advise about auto gear box fluid!!! Will upload pics soon and any advise appreciated, gerald

Brave man for trying to rescue the car. You should find plenty of info and help here.

the springs on these break so if its up and running some new springs will be a very good idea

Completely overlooked springs and thinking about it now the car is sitting low all around I was thinking this was due to it having 18 " wheels but will definitely check over the weekend.cars last not was 2008 and been sitting on drive ever since then so I'll be changing tyers as well, can feel the wallet getting thinner already :? Thanks for advise
