Hi all, Im trying to get better air flow to my big fmic and im toying with a few ideas on the front bumper, i love the look of this http://imgur.com/bSHgLo2 sorry about the link, just wondering... if the front cross member is removerd to allow air flow to the ic how is the bumper staying there ? or would it be best to make "air holes" through the bumper and the bar, thanks guys n galls.

The bumper bar is kind of like a 6" square box pipe with only the top, bottom, and front, having any metal (the back is open and there is polystyrene stuff put in there.

So you could quite easily grind out the front part of the bar and hollow out the middle, leaving only the top and bottom bits of metal to retain rigidity across the front end. What would happen in a crash I do not know but I doubt you'd get anywhere near the same level of protection.

I've got a spare silver SE bumper skin if you want to come and get it (have replaced it with a Viggen one).
