Per title, does anyone know of Hirsch tuners still in business in the south east? The old dealer network is almost gone and I can only find one (Bell and Colvill in Horsley, who don’t seem to doing much tuning) that’s still alive.

I fancy a tune for my 2.8. I’m aware of JCW but I’d prefer a Hirsch tune since they seem, anecdotally at least, less harsh on the coils.

Cheers!

Probably need to ring around the Saab Service centres

Hopefully above link helps?

Personally if you want a reliable map that won’t push the car too hard , but will still trounce the Hirsch map, try Maptun.

Coils will give you the ghost on a standard car over time. New coils / good coils will be fine with a Maptun tune.

Had a variety of maps on my 2.8s and Maptun has been the best so far without aggravating anything mechanical ...

Aura Tuning seem to be getting a good reputation for tuning the Saab V6. They are fairly new to Saab but have been tuning Fords under another name for many years. I think that they are in Swindon.

Thanks both.

I live in west London. Where is aura tuning? Visited the facebook site but can’t see an address (don’t have an account to sign in though).

Paolo, I just had a new set of coils hence the reuctance to have to fork out for more. Hirsch seemed the way but might consider maptun if you’d had no issue? And is there maptun near me?

Circa 60k on one car and 25k on another - no issues
You can go direct to Sweden, other Saab garages sell it or Neo’s
https://www.neobrothers.co.uk/maptun-st ... 4046-p.asp
You can get £80 back if you send the tuner back. I did on both occasions

Swindon, I think. Their web presence is sketchy. All they have is a mobile number. 07969 165334

Nathan Blackmore (Nate on here) knows Aura well. Maybe best to send him a PM.
