With this Halfords bogof offer coming up (anyone know when???) I'm looking at getting dome new cleaning products and just stumbled accross these. I've been using the autoglym stuff for a while and that's ok but is this stuff any better? Also is it safe to use on gloss black painted alloys?

As buy that stuff,you'll find brick acid cheaper,as it's much the same.

Valet Pro Bilberry Safe Wheel Cleaner. Much better and much less aggressive than Wonder Wheels.

If you want that, go to costco, 5l = £5 but if you've got some bare metal on the alloys it might lift the paint if is not rinsed on time as its acidic, otherwise it cleans stubborns dirts without any hassle. Otherwise bilbery will do you fine, for fairly dirty wheels use wolfchemicals brake duster as it's absolutly safe on alloys.

Yes it gets wheels clean, but as said it is very harsh, I have to use it on my front wheels to get DS3000 brake dust off :wall: I use AG clean wheels on rears.

I keep some Wonder wheels on hand for the bits that sometimes defy other cleaners, yes it is harsher...but used with care no issues.

Looks like I'll give it a miss then! My thoughts were if I could get it on the halfords bogof deal then I'd get this and something else similarly priced for free (Megs Gold Class Shampoo)
I'll try the Bilberry stuff instead!
