-Whats the best leather cleaner to use on high mileage 9-5 seats. The car has done over 170,000 miles so the seats could do with a good scrub. It's an 03 plate and the interior is charcoal grey.

Many thanks

I am lucky. I have a bottle of Simoniz leather cleaner here. A tin of Cherry Blossom. Lots of rags and time.

I have spent some time tarting the oddball leather seats up.

They are still curing in here. My challenge to the purists will be, get the bird in the pic to sit on my seats with white troosers on.

See what 'appens! :D

I'm a big fan of Gliptone products especially the dye and the conditioner. If you phone don't be put off by the guy at the workshop he is very curt in my experience but I can put up with it as the product is so good.

Autoglym leather cleaner and a round, Tampico brush bring them up well.

There is a cleaner / restorer that you can get from the £ shop called 'Astonish'. A forum member posted some pics last year showing how it tightened up the drivers seat and made it look more like 60k rather than 160k. It does a decent job and smells ok too.

Leaves a nice matte finish rather than looking wet.

Out of choice Id use Glyptone just for the smell but its at a cost.

Dr Leather wipes. They're not cheap, but a little goes a long way. Don't discount them because they're wipes- they're chubby good.

Baby wipes for cleaning, followed by leather conditioner - I use a Meguiars one, I think.
