I use Tunap112 on all my cars calipers, its like a dry silver grease spray that protects all of the caliper/pad etc.
Brilliant stuff and doesnt wash off but it will come off with brake cleaner, started using it about a year ago and
when it came back round to replacing pads etc the calipers has no rust, one of the best products i have used in years.
Costs around £10.

Just ordered some of this as I like the look, looks much better than the usual garish caliper paint.

I use normal aerosols from halfords, I've never had a problem with the finish yet.

It's good stuff but remember it's not permanent like caliper paint. It's more functional than cosmetic if it starts looking tired you can just clean and re apply. I do them once a year when servicing brakes.

That's more what I'm looking for.

As I said I do not like garish caliper paint, especially on a classic.

I can confirm red calipers do make cars go faster, red Brembo's are standard on some cars. As with most things, preperation is the most important thing.

Dave, I would have thought ''stopping power'' would have been more important with brakes :D
