I am thinking about spraying the black trim including the front mudflaps and the door trims. It would be Satin Black. Has anybody done this before?

It would need 'plastic' type paint. I am always wary of paint peeling from plastic. Have you tried cleaning the trim with smooth peanut butter?

I've done it and it's quite good. Cheap, easily found. *Don't* get lumpy

Another vote for smooth peanut butter, I swear by it :-)

You can paint it, should be ok no matter what type of paint you use, just make sure to clean it properly before painting

I've recently bought some Gtechniq C4 which I need to try out on my 9-3 OG. The only issue I've heard is that you need to leave it 24 hours to let it cure before exposing it to rain etc. I'll take some pics once I've had a go!

I painted all the trim on my 2004 9-3 so will be the same.
Just use plastic primer and then I used a normal mixed can for the colour.
Been on for some time now without problems.

I've done a few, just plastic primer then whatever rattle cans you fancy. I like halfords paint.

Good old photobucket eh?
Let's put our logo right over the middle of the picture.
