EXAMPLE- [Car Year][Car Model]: [Brief description of issue]

When you put a new thread up in the Workshop please put your car's year and model in the title, along with just a brief indicator of the problem.

Please also add as much information as you can about the problem, to your post.

This will help us to help you, without having to ask basic details such as what car you have.

My 01MY 9-5 2.0lpt has started to hesitate a little when pressing on. I get boost once the turbo kicks in but then seem to get a bit of hesitation as the revs climb. The car drives normally otherwise and I can't see anything obvious loose or missing under the bonnet. I've only done 40k sine the turbo was replaced and all sludge related issues were sorted.

Misfire, probably an early sign of the DI being on its way out...

Is there any way I can check this without buying a new DI?

Funnily enough the fuel economy hasn't been quite as good as normal so I've just bought (but not yet fitted) some new spark plugs as they're due a change and was blaming them.

Suspect that link is for one of the cheap chinese copies that have a half life of about 6 nanoseconds...but you could be lucky?

Could be right, I think the Elkparts logo behind the image fooled me into thinking it was from elkparts

always try the saab md first for a price , last time i asked (last month), they where 230 quid odd inc vat, cheaper than everyone else , plus if it goes in the first 2 yrs just walk in and get a new one , no mucking about , i find alot of stuff cheaper in main dealer so always worth checking.

might be the evap 1 way valve , when they start to go they draw boast so makes it feel like hesitation, but more than likley d.i as said^^^

I'm going to take it to my local indie specialist, he usually does us a good deal as we're far too good customers! My car just seems to be getting all the 'they all do that' problems
