Forum rules

When you put a new thread up in the Workshop please put your car's year and model in the title, along with just a brief indicator of the problem.

Car Year - Car Model: Brief description of issue. EXAMPLE- 1999 9-3. Problems starting when hot

Please also add as much information as you can about the problem, to your post.

This will help us to help you, without having to ask basic details such as what car you have.

Threads with non-compliant titles will be moved to The Pit Lane (in which no replies can be posted, but the OP can edit the thread - upon which the thread will be released to the workshop forum)

Nb. Generic thread titles for truly generic issues that genuinely are not model or variant specific (such as "how do I change the spring in an forge wastegate actuator") are acceptable

**The first 5 posts for new users require individual moderator approval (which they will only get it if they are in line the rules of the forum). Please be patient and allow time for that to happen, and avoid duplicate postings.**

Car Model: saab 93 aero
Hi, this is my first post Also my first Sabb!!
After years of Citroens, what a change! I love it.
My question is: I've bought some led h7 £45 so not cheap,
I'm trying to fit into light fitting but there is a plastic fitting on the old bulb that the led
Won't fit into!
Where am I going wrong? What fitting do I need?
The led lights are Green L 6000k H7.
I would be chuffed if anyone can help
Cheers Dave.

Had a look at these on Amazon (other sites are available :)
The connecting lead has two pins will they not just plug into the existing socket for the old bulbs? . I've never fitted these kits and have factory xenon on mine. What appears to be preventing from hooking up bud?

Also Welcome :-) I lost my manners there for a moment. I have a 9-5 but have had a 9-3 in the past as I recall the headlight bulbs were a bit of a struggle to swap out . A more knowlageable bod I'm sure will be along soon. If you were in Northampton I would have said meet up and try and figure it out. I'm not 100% convinced these can be fitted to a 9-3 but one of the experts should clear that up.

Good luck bud.
