Car Models: Saab 9000 CSE 2.3 Anniversary
Hi everyone

I’m reluctantly listing my 1997 Saab 9000 CSE 2.3 Anniversary for sale as my new husband and I are combining our two homes so I need the space. I want the car to go to someone who will appreciate it.

Key information
150,000 miles
Automatic gearbox
Amethyst (looks black) with two-tone beige Anniversary leather interior Climate control, alloy wheels, fog lights, heated front seats, walnut trim Additional set of alloy wheels fitted with good condition winter tyres Good service history – regularly serviced by reputable garages and Saab specialists Owned and driven by advanced driver since 2008. Smoke and pet free household Tow bar
12 months’ MOT

Good bits
Major engine refurbishment (2018):
• Engine fully stripped, cleaned and inspected for wear and general maintenance issues • All seals and gaskets replaced internally and externally • Big end and main bearings replaced • Turbo charger and water pump replaced • New idler and tension pulleys and new auxiliary drive belt • Full timing chain kit including tensioners and guides replaced Full recondition/rebuild of gearbox (2018) Two new front wings (2018) Starts and runs well

Not so good bits (hence the price)
N/S/F drive shaft joint constant velocity boot requires replacement N/S /F coil spring corroded Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material Oil leak (not excessive) in engine/gearbox area Nearside rear wheel arch corroded Slight rust around petrol filler cap cover Front headlight deteriorated – requires attention N/S/R door central locking does not work Driver’s door light broken
