Difficult one for me this but here goes…

SAAB 9-3 VIGGEN 3DR COUPE (Black)

I’ve had her for nearly 2 years now (purchased in Jan/17), the previous owner had the car for 15 years, I purchased it off the forum, an enthusiast who actually had 2, the other was lightening blue. When I bought the car it was in need of some minor tlc but I decided to run her occasionally as was, from a maintenance stand point she has literally wanted for nothing. The service history was first class, with all original service books, purchase invoice, parts invoices and services invoices, in addition to the service invoices the specialist that serviced actually wrought on the back of them what he thought it might need in the future, a personnel touch I thought.

It wasn’t until late 2017/2018 that I started to spend some money on her, which became quite an obsession, I’ll stick with what I’ve done to her for the description otherwise we’ll be here all day.

All the following the work has been carried out by professionals, MGM Saab Specialist in Carlisle, Greta Body Works in Keswick.

Parts were supplied by, Neo Brothers, Saabits, Jamsaab, Parts for Saabs and where ever I could helping other enthusiasts out.

I should point out I have receipts for all parts and labours on the above, coupled with what came with the car, giving the owner a full comprehensive service history.

BODYWORK

Front and back bumpers painted due to general; wear and tear, scuffed

Bonnet painted due to some minor stone chips I wasn’t happy with

Both side sills Painted due to minor marks

Both rear arches treated and painted, due to some very minor bubbling on the under side of the arch, generally good for an OG9-3, but thought it best to get a proper job done

All underside and wheel arches rust proof and protected.

ELECTRICS

All work, with exception of the CD changer of which I have a brand new genuine one as per what was originally installed, will need Tech 2, i’ll hopefully get this sorted when I send it for an Mot.

The whole interior has been hovered, wiped, conditioned and polished.

Brand New Saab og 9-3 grey carpets, not fitted yet.

New Optional drinks hold that sits under SID, not fitted yet.

SPARES

2 x brand new front headlights genuine

Brand New front genuine front grill

New red stuff front pads

6 x Alloy wheels as previously mentioned

Set of Saab mats original saab mats in the car

Steering wheel

Front speakers not sure if these are compatible yet.

REASON FOR SELLING

Back in August 2018 I purchased a Saab 900 T16s, since then it’s been at MGM waiting to get mot’d and back on the road, work has recently got under a way and although it doesnt need that much i only have one garage so I’m being realistic one has to go, the Viggen has been tooked away since late September after the last bodywork visit, ideally I’d love to keep both, who wouldn’t love to have a black viggen and a black t16s parked next to each other in the garage. That said I’m in no rush to sell .

SUMMARY

Performs and drives superb and what I think would make a good investment.
Not many of these left now, very few in black

Impeccable service history with 2 x keys and slugs both working.

I’ve only covered 2.5k in my ownership the car is currently showing just over 80k.

I don’t have any pictures for the purpose of selling but I guess you get the picture and if serious you’ll be coming to view.

2 previous owners, Mot up in March 2019 but I’ll renew, the reg is J13RJC and will stop with the car.

Please pm if your interested to discus further.

Thanks for reading.
