Car Model: 9-3 aero (01) Noob Stage 3+
I've read plenty of statements like this before and taken them with a pinch of salt, but it is with a genuinely heavy heart that I'm advertising my 2001 9-3 Aero!

We have a young boy, are working a second kid and already the 9-3 is just too small for our needs. So we've just bought a 9-5 estate edna Aero.
Anyway, enough of the bleeding heart...

I've owned the car for the last 3 years, bought it with 85k on the clock and it's now done just over 107k. In that time a long list of upgrades/ work has been done:

Stage 3+ Noobtune Map (275-280BPH, 420NM)
Maptun 3" Stainless Steel Downpipe
Maptun 2.5" Stainless Catback
Do88 Intercooler
Viggen Clutch Kit
Forge DV
Maptun panel air filter
Intake resonator box delete

Bilstien B12 (B8 dampers with Eibach Pro-Kit springs) - less than 5k ago
Heavy duty front control arms (ungraded balljoint)
Powerflex poly bushes - front control arms, stanchion arms, rear trailing arms, drop links (I have the front ARB bushes unfitted and will be included in the sale.)
GenuineSaab poly Transmission and Top Engine mounts
SAS 22mm Rear anti-roll bar
Abbott Steering rack brace
GenuineSaab poly inner tie rod bushes
Goodridge braided brake hoses front and rear

General Maintenance-
New OEQ top mounts (from Pete, Euro Saab Parts Direct)
New OEM top mount bearings
Turbo rebuild + new actuator around 10k ago
Gearbox rebuild 7k ago, replaced input/ output shaft bearings and reverse gear cluster - worked carried out by Saab master mechanic
New tie rod ends
Sump drop and clean
Valve cover removed, cleaned and new OEM gasket
#6 Breather Kit
New OEM Power steering high pressure hose
New OEM Crank Position sensor
New OEM Engine Temp sensor
New OEQ Rear Engine mount
Inner driver/ Tripod bearings stripped, cleaned, repacked and New boots both sides.
CV joints stripped, cleaned, repacked and rebooted both sides.
New Pagid disks all around 15k ago
Brake calipers all replaced with re-manufactured OEM about 2k ago
Replacement front hard brake lines
New EBC Red stuff pads all round around 5k ago
OEM Front nearside wheel bearing
New OEM Rear light cluster seals (Common place for water ingress.)
Salvaged electric aerial
Silicon vacuum hoses all round
New OEQ Air Con Clutch
Gear linkage rebuilt with metal socket ball joints
Refurbished SID

Service Items-
New OEM Fuel filter
Oil changed with Mobil 1 ESP every 6 months (My oil change procedure involves a flush - new filter + Saab/GM fully synth Oil, run for 100 - 200 miles, then new filter + Mobil 1 ESP 0w40.)
Air filter changed/ cleaned every 6 months
Cabin Pollen filter replaced every 12 months
Hydraulic fluid flushed and replaced with GM DOT 4+ around 5k ago
Auxiliary belt replaced around 10k ago
NGK BCPR7ES gapped to 9mm - every 6 months
OEM Aux belt -around 10k ago
Full set of Bosch wiper blades around 10k ago

Last service in June - oil, plugs, pollen filter, air filter

Wheels refurbished in graphite grey
Rear arches welded and resprayed by a professional body shop

New Saab carpet mats
SaabAux audio auxiliary socket
New Saab leather gear knob

Bad bits -
The rear washer dribbles water on the screen. The pump is working fine, I think there is a blockage in the nozzel and the hose will need to be disconnected from the nozzel to be cleaned and pump through any gunk.
Wheels have some very light kurbing in 1 or 2 spots.
1 or 2 car very small park dings on the drivers door.

All major work has been carried out by a Saab indy
All minor work has been carried out by myself, including servicing.
I have a folder of recipes I've collected for parts and work carried out.
I'm sure I've missed out some things but as I said I have a folder of recipts I've religiously collected.

Always fed with Shell Vpower, the car drives beautifully, handles extremely well for a 9-3 and puts a huge smile on your face every time you put your foot down.
I've spent a lot of time, with Karl's (NoobTune) help, ironing out a few small niggles that came with the stage 3 and 3+ tune and it's run perfectly since. She's just completed a 700 mile round trip to mid Wales for our end of summer holiday and there really wasn't a single mile I didn't enjoy ..

I'm sure some will think I'm overpricing the car at £2500 but with the amount of attention it's had over the years I've had it, the tuning/ handling mods and general condition of the car, I think it's fairly priced. I am however open to sensible offers.

Pics to follow..

Reduced to £2350!

Also added the Abbott steering rack brace to the list of mods, which I'd forgotten to put in :)
