Time has come to sell our trusty 9-5. It's been a great car and still is, but my son has hit the magic 17 and the insurance companies are having a good laugh at us, can't even give us a quote! So we have to find a boring less safe car for him to learn and practice in.

It's a metallic grey model with black leather interior, still very comfortable and the heated seats still work perfectly. The LPG system is a Prins system fitted by myself when the car belonged to a customer. It's done about 50k miles on the LPG now, and still runs beautifully on gas. You don't even feel it switch over, and it's very cheap to run.

It's recently had a new fuel pump - emergency gas start came in very useful the day the pump died!

Other recent work includes new rear shocks for last MOT, which expires 25th March 2019. The rear tyres will be replaced with new tyres before selling, and the fronts have about 8,000 miles on them, but they're in good condition with plenty of tread.

The odometer is showing about 142k miles. Timing chains and sump drop were done by me in 2016.

Overall, the car is quite presentable, but does have a few dings which were present before we bought the car in 2016, in fact they were there when the car was purchased by my customer back in 2013! There is a small amount of rust on the rear wheel arch at the bottom where they all start to go eventually. Really the car is ideal for a regular commuter who's not too concerned about a few minor marks, and will save someone a lot of money on fuel costs - we're currently filling up at 52.7 pence per litre.

We're in Angus - home in Carnoustie, workshop is in Arbroath. The car is currently parked in Grangemouth, but will be back up here in a few days.
