A heads up.

99T Combi Coupe project on eBay.

Interesting to see what it goes for.

Headlight relay seems to be missing.

Have asked seller about condition of tailgate and boot floor... Notorious rust spots on these I believe?

Near you Mal? Surely it's time for a new car in the Espin household?? :D

Its stopping me now, I have not even had time to do anything on the 99 I have for 2 months.
Its not even been cleaned since the last meet I attended in it.
I'm hoping to get chance to do it late tomorrow afternoon after finishing work, ready for Sundays Limes meet.

Looks rather original. Even still has the correct rubbing strips down the sides and that is pretty unusual to see.

Sure it'll need welding in all the usual places but seen a lot worse!

If the interior condition matches the mileage, which it looks like it might, and the CIS can be brought back to life it could make a very nice project for a talented fabricator (not a million posts above this one  )

Interior and exterior trim suggest this is a Finnish produced model. Also appears to have electric mirrors, not the original flat spade type.

This car is literally a couple of miles away from me!! Very very tempting. Just think it’ll end up going for a lot more than the £2000 starting bid and would cost a hell of a lot to get back on the road!! :(

I’ll use my usual structured bidding technique: 1 min before auction ends, check bank balance, 5 secs before end bid the lot and see what happens!

It was first registered in Glasgow and going by the amount of corrosion? it's been there a while i think.

According to DVLA it has not had it's first MOT.

The seller says it's been stored since 1987 so this is pre SORN, I guess the DVLAs records don't go back that far.

Online MoT data doesn't go further back than 2006.
