Long shot,
but does anyone have any pictures illustrating in which order the front of a 99 was assembled in the factory?, ie the various independent pieces of metalwork that make up the front towers, underbelly, cross members etc?
it seems a safe bet the wings were last!
Thanks

Hi Ian

Just noticed you have bought the blue 99, well done. Hope you manage to get it sorted.
I do have NOS panels for that car, inner wheel housings, complete inner wings etc.

Thanks, if it had been on my door step I would've went and seen it first, and I suspect I wouldn't have bought it!
it's blocking other things into the shed so I really have to fix it!

Being a 4dr base model I suspect that the financial outlay on new inner housings and complete inner wings would be more than I can realistically afford  but I am tempted to ask?
Peter has offered me a complete shell that I feel I'm going to end up going down for and taking home to dissect, I don't feel as bad cutting up a shell that's already been hacked..

Also as you unpick the welds on the old shell etc it will give you the good insight into how it was / is assembled. A labour of love :)
