Hi

Just bought a 1988 900.

Thinking of changing the wheels but having had a dig around the internet, would it be right that earlier wheels don’t fit. I was thinking about a set of original Inca wheels which are 15’s like mine so I could use the 4 new tyres on my car.

Second choice would be the style with grey centres and polished rims. Not sure what they are called.

Does anyone have any advice please?

Thanks

Jonathan

Hi Welcome to UKS :D

You are correct the earlier wheels like Inca's will not fit on your car.

As for grey with polished centres, I take it you mean the 3 spoke directionals.
16'' Carlsson & Aero wheels are also found in that style or are often refurbished in that style.

Thank you. Shame about the Inca wheels. Always loved that design. Just so classically Saab.....

Carlssons are 16'' so you will obviously need a new set of tyres.

Stick a wanted ad in the classifieds, the general forum is not the place for wanted threads. I'm sure someone will have a set but they will not be cheap.

Super Inca's are an option, but they are not a very popular wheel.

Which means they are not priced the same as the more popular wheels, although some do try and fail to sell at similar prices to the more popular wheels.
