Hi all. Does anyone have the fitting dimensions for the classic 900 convertible wind deflector mounting hole positions ?

The proper Saab deflector has brackets that attach to the top bolts (which are under the plastic covers) for the rear seat belts. No drilling required. If you have an aftermarket deflector it will vary by manufacturer / design.

Hi colvertible.

I presently use a 1995 900SE wind deflector on my C900 convertibles. This was retained when I disposed of the 900SE.

No drilling required:- The extension pieces slide under the rear headrests and the rear seatbelts are looped around the " pushbolts" at the front of the wind deflector.
Pull the seatbelts tight and it will never move.

It is not quite the correct shape but it does the job and it makes a huge difference.

If you PM me your email address, I will send you a picture.

Cheers

I do exactly the same.
A later one is also far cheaper than the original C900 one unless your fortunate to already have one.

Um.....
My (new to me) '93 convertible came with a wind deflector that has a spring bolt either side that pops into a little hole below the rear quarterlight window, and a horizontal bit that tucks under the rear head rests. How do I tell whether it's original or not?!

(This will take forever to get posted as I only joined the site today, and haven't yet posted 5 things. May take me a while.....
