Just bought a sunroof wind deflector for the 99 without any fixings or the sealing rubber.
Anyone know where I can get these? The seal in particular, I can make up some mounts if push comes to shove.
Cheers

Ade, still not had chance to look through my parts bins in the shed to see if I have the some brackets.

It is on my list of things to do though

I could not find the seal though, I think I may have let that go already.

Could there be one of Woolies extrusions that would be close enough to work?

That's awesome Mal good news. I'll be at the Aug meet as I'm on hol in July.
I've seen some seal stuff on eBay so I'll just try some of that.
Thanks for the input guys.

I'll pop them in the glove box of the 99 ready for August so that I do not mislay them.

That was going to be my suggestion. Or as a last resort, copious mastic.... :haynes:

I recently sold a 900 sunroof deflector to Paul Midgely on here, user Mighty Midge, and thanks to the Royal Mail it arrived cracked. He has been refunded, but I didn't ask for the item back as it's now useless/worthless. Maybe he won't have a use for the seal part, and would be able to get it to you? It's got to be worth an ask.

I'm looking for a sun roof wind deflector for my after market sun roof, on my 96.

Has to be stick on, around 94 cm wide, something around 15 to 20 cm deep. The depth is not that important, the width is because I have to be able to cover the slight marks on the paint, where the old one sat.

I've tried Flea Bay, Amazon, and a couple of specialist places but no luck.

The one that was fitted, which is broken, was "allegedly" for a Mitsubishi Pajero.

Andy, I have seen a few 38'' ones for sale on eBay, but located in China and the USA.

This any good Andy.

They work out expensive once you add shipping and import charges

Mal

Aye, I've seen this one, it's exactly what I'm looking for, but the shipping costs from the US are horrendous, almost more than the value of the item itself, plus importation tax. ( a harbinger of things to come when buying stuff in continental Europe after this daft Brexit nonsense comes to pass).

It'll be my "last resort", if I can't find anything in Europe, preferably the UK.
Thanks again for the pointer Mal.

Update:- I've actually now found several in the US, China, and South Korea, but they all come with huge potential shipping costs and customs. Does no one in Europe make these darned things???

Andy
