Help,i cannot find the 2 pin diagnostic plug that is supposed to be at the rear of the coolant expansion tank.
The model year is 1990 and it's a 2 door T16s saloon and the "ANTI LOCK" light won't go off.
I did find a square 4 pin socket under the rear seat fixed to a bracket to the rear of the ABS ECU but the wiring diagrams only shows 2 wires and not 4?
Does anyone know where i'm going wrong
Cheers
James

I can probably find the test procedure for this using flash codes if no one else can help and you get stuck. Not to hand at the moment though!
Don't recall the plug being behind the expansion tank but could be wrong.
Later cars I think could be tested using the Saab ISAT tester using a plug under the back seat.
Start off by making sure all the wheel sensors are plugged in and are not open circuit.

Just had a look at my own car and the 2 pin connector for flash codes hangs out of the ECU connector.
Early cars didn't have a diagnostic function but you can use a later ECU and wire in the diagnostic wire to the ECU connector.

Hi pete99
I resolved the issue by shorting out pin 26 on the ECU and that gave me a code 1134,which is the right front outlet valve.
I have a copy of the diagnostic procedures but i cannot erase the fault code or find any more that may be stored as the abs light comes on solid
Anybody have any ideas :)
