I had a look at spare 99t petrol tank in my loft tonight, and there is small 6-8mm pipe clipped to the white plastic tray
which leads up to top of tank into plastic elbow, I think this then attaches to rollover valve on near side of car
Hope this helps :)

Hi regarding the plastic pipe which clips to the 'collector tray' in the fuel tank, this is the return pipe from the K-jet metering head.

As the excess fuel is returned to the tank it also keeps the collector tray filled with fuel...so as you corner or as the fuel level gets lower in the tank...there is always a good supply of fuel to the pump.
If you dont have this pipe correctly clipped in place...feeding fuel into the tray...you will have fuel starvation.

Ok hope this helps.

Darryl.

Darryl is correct. My first 99T was missing this tray and it took me a long time to figure out why the car would stall when turning left with low fuel... :park:
