Sorry, the title should read "Red bit on seatbelt stalk for c900"

Just in response to an earlier query
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=178457

The red bit on the top just unclips from the black part in the centre using a pointy knife carefully on the sides! Makes the job easy peasy and the search and postage for the correct stalk easier!! :D

Once I figured it out, i was able to use the part from an earlier seatbelt stalk without the wiring and replace it in a minute.

Just thought I'd pass this on.

You have to be very careful when using "a pointy knife" as the red bit can snap very easily.
(Don't ask how I know!)

Problem with mine wasn't just cosmetic - the locking mechanism was so worn that the belt buckle would just slip out with even the slightest of force. Anyway, all sorted now and safe to use.
