I looked when it had been on less than 1 hour and at just over 1K. In the 5 minutes I was looking it rattled up to 5K. 9 days and 23 hrs left. wow.

£5400 this time round................ thats a 18% drop............

from the sellers description in the re-listed advert it does appear he was messed about............... but quite a disappointment with the revised sale price I would have thought...................... meanwhile the very nice 900T convertible made £6705.............. or will that be re-listed too?

He would have been better off with giving a second chance offer to the second placed bidder on the last auction.

Second placed bidder had bid to £6500.

He could always take the first guy to court for the £1,200 he's lost.

I agree.................. its a big drop from £6800 to £5400. If it were me relisting I would have expected nearer the original top bid................. hence why your idea of offering to 2nd place makes sense............ Curious affair ?

The seller obviously thought he would get an equal or higher return by re listing.

But instead of losing £100 with a second chance offer he has lost £1100 on the relist.

More often than not its better to go with the reasonable amount thats on the table, rather than get too greedy in the hope for a little more.

It may still be relisted yet :corn:
