Did they come as standard??

Cobra alarms were popular back then with the dealers.

And Saab eventually produced some Saab-branded Cobra alarms. However, Phillips alarms were also fitted by dealers and are more likely around that age of car.
If you're looking to find out what security system is fitted in a car for insurance purposes, it could be anything. Saab didn't factory-fit an alarm to the Classic 900, as far as I know, except for the US market. In fact it wasn't until about 1995 that they started fitting security at the factory for UK models. Lots of Saabs have had aftermarket alarms fitted when new or quite young and many have had these replaced by something else later on.
