I will be on holiday in Ilkley that week and might come as a day visitor. I will be in my Mondeo estate though so won't be able to add to your display :(

As things stand at the moment I should still be able to make this. Need to get the 99 Mot'd as its the only SAAB I have at the moment

Hopefully I will be camping as well.

Looking at the the list of names above there is certainly a good range of different models.

We should be there from 2pm sat, I dont think we can borrow the large BBQ so looks like a few disposable ones need to be brought and dont forget your drinks as the nearest shop is around 10 miles away, there may be one in the village but I will have to check.

The postcode for people using sat nav is YO8 6DS this will take you directly to the airfield, there is a small cafe on site serving hot and cold sandwiches and hot and cold drinks but no alcohol so I must stress if you are having a pint on saturday night you MUST bring some with you, the museum hangars will be open so dont forget to have a look at some of the vintage aircraft and the recently recovered Halifax bomber engine that is going to be preserved and put on display, so everyone enjoy the place and dont forget "Its a place where you are allowed virtually anywhere on the airfield but remember not to walk in front of spinning propellors....it may sting for a while after"

I have just been looking into renting a portaloo for our Breighton bash for 1 night and the cost is £135 which seems a bit silly really when we can buy a decent flushable toilet and a toilet tent for less than £100 for a damm goodun which can be used over and over again........seems a daft question but who would be up for a group buy of one that would be available to any UKSaaber either camping or doing a weekend meet

There are but once the cafe closes thats them gone till morning, a portable loo from one of the hire companies will cost around 130 quids and if everyone fancies chipping in for this then I could get one for the whole weekend which would make sense

Nice one, I would like a yellow bog please...With a soft pile seat cover, air con, blue bum wipes (non scented) & a collection of car porn mags.
A high speed broadband connection plug would be nice so I can post some pics on the ladyboys forum while Im doing my buisness.

Well, seeing as this is only 'up the road' from me and if the Black Vert passes it's test in time, I might pop along on the sunday. Although, you prob won't want the rusty/patchy vert on display!

May even get the old man to bring the red vert along too!

But no camping as i'll be working the saturday regrdless.

Dan

I have just phoned the airfield and have been told that because its one of the last fly-ins of the year they expect it to be a busy day and normally portaloos are on site just behind the cafe so it looks like they are catering for a crowd so we should be ok for the night as they are delivered weekdays and recovered weekdays, leaving us lot to use them on saturday, but to have a wash tou will have to wait untill about 7.30am when the staff start to arrive
