Done, as requested. You should (as the owner) be able to edit your own original thread(s). If you can't, please contact one of the admins and they'll sort it out.

A quick "GWS funny": A while back, I was in the local Saab dealer's showroom, wandering around the collection of shiny Saabs on offer. The [young] salesperson came over and, spotting my GWS-badged fleece, asked " .... so how long have you been working for Saab?". He'd never heard of the SOC or any of the local branches/clubs/interest groups  . He was duly informed ....... . I doubt that it meant much to him, though.

Newsflash - I was at Prescott on Friday and was given the news that the Autumn Classic event in October will have an American Automobile Fever theme - along the lines of La Vie en Bleu. Sounds as though it'll be a great outing. Elvis and Marilyn Monroe will be there  plus Show Girls, Jazz, Harleys, Hot Rods and Street cars and much more to tempt you to come along. Pass the message on to anyone you know who owns/drives/shows an American vehicle. http://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/october2010.aspx

David - I've updated the calendar post accordingly - hope you don't mind.

The fourth running of this annual classic car rally attracts a wide range of models and owners from far and wide! GWS and South West Saabs attend this event organised by the local Rover P5 Club. Open to all classics and modern cars so why not bring your car along and enjoy a ride on these small gauge trains and meet like minded folk.
