A big thank you to all that came along to the 2017 show, what a great turn out and collection of cars.
Old, new, clean, not so clean, original, made different, all were there and all are welcome.
Results etc can be found at www.swedishday.co.uk
As Elli and John have said above the show will see the return of the Saturday night carvery/roast meal and, if interest is there, a tour around the countryside on the Saturday afternoon.
I have a new dedicated email address so hopefully mail wont get lost, swedishdayuk@btinternet.com and John is working on a facebook page for me.

Due to being the nominated hospital transport last weekend, I had to give it a miss this year. However it's now in the diary for next year!

I will be making the long trek south for this one. I have already booked a room at the Mill for the Saturday night, for myself and the long haired one.
We will combine it with a long weekend in the Bath/Bristol area.
Looking forward to meeting up with you all again. (though I'm not always very good at matching up the Forum aliases, with real names!!!)
Perhaps we should all wear little name badges with our forum aliases written on them!.

Andy

If anyone would like flyers for Swedish Day 2018 to hand out prior to the event please contact me.
We are still looking for SAAB specialists etc to attend with displays or stalls. Please contact Robin or me with your ideas.
John.

Good stuff! I'll put up a separate thread soon so I know who to expect.

Just booked a B&B for Saturday night. In the past I've done the 400 mile round trip in one day but age is catching up with me so, this year, I'm travelling there on Saturday.

Good news...the Tythe Barn will be serving hot and cold food. A full menu to follow soon.
Unfortunately due to lack of time we haven't organised the Saturday "tour" of the area. If someone wants to take up the reigns please let us know.
Camping is free on Saturday and Sunday night and will be an informal set up. Tents can set up in the field opposite the main entrance. Caravans, ignore the entrance sign and follow the signs for the exit/HGV gate..you will be allowed to use the gravel car park just inside the gate. The bar/restaurant will be open from 8am until midnight and campers will be allowed to use the toilets.
Camping isn't offered to all who use this venue so we need to ensure that all rubbish is removed, the grounds respected and noise levels kept low if we are to keep this option open next year

I'm planning to come down again and pitch a tent on Saturday. Hope the weather will be as good as last year!
