But surely when it's in the folded setting the COG will be quite low, sort of like a sports caravan  .

And unfortunately it's me that's having to pull out!
Having some staffing issues at work. Meaning the time I did have off for this is no more!

Sorry guys!

Why don't we consider this for May 2017 before the midges get too bad, at the other meets I have heard a few talk about this trip.

Barry.

What you need is someone with a good camera drone for this.

Drove over the St Bernard Pass (Switz-Italy) yesterday, there and back.

Looks more spectacular from a distance, driving the thing depends entirely on the other traffic on the road.

Get up early chaps.

Very interested for early summer 2017.
Lived up there (close by) and enjoyed my spare time driving these roads in the early 80's.

It's a long way away, but I'll certainly be up for it, if nothing else comes up!
Two overnights sounds better than one.
It's a fair way from the central belt.

re-traffic on the passes.
I've been over various Alpine passes, including the famous Stilsferjoch/Stelvio, and we couldn't move for pushbikes. At a standstill at times......

Yeah I guess we could do the usual, folk from down south side borders, fife etc could meet at kinross services, and north bound Aberdeen etc could make they're separate trip along the top end and we could meet up somewhere up there..
Glasgow area maybe meet somewhere on route or wee trip to this side (Fife)..
Sometime early saturday morning and stay over for the sunday.. (Inverness area) for an exciting trip back home..
Anyone know any good roads to take or stick to the main roads..
Hmm now just to get an ideal car for the trip
