Haselbury Mill have just cancelled my booking for one of the Showman's Caravans. There's a wedding on, and apparently they want our caravan!
Can I just ask, is there going to be a meal again on the Saturday night?

Hi Andy. Sorry to hear that. As far as I can say, yes there is a meal, but with your message I will ask to confirm. Robin.

Robin.
I've managed to get a B&B nearby, (within walking distance) it would be good to know if the planned meal is still on, because if for any reason it isn't, we would go and stay in Yeovil. Just don't want to have to drive after a good evening meal, at the Mill, with lots of drinkie poos!

Do we have to register/book for the Saturday evening meal?
We had our own big "Saab" table last year, I seem to remember.

Andy that's not cricket, you booked first, so first comes first.
Disgraceful behaviour from the Mill.

Databar

I felt the same way mate, really not very good.

I probably should have dug my heels in,but I don't want the hassle.
I may have a word with the manager, when I'm there on the Saturday night for the dinner, or perhaps
on the Sunday of Swedish day

Hope to join "organised" A303 westbound convoy this year.

Missed out last time due to failure of

synchronisation.

I might try and join again, but so far I have missed. First time I was very late and caught up just as you arrived at the event. Last time, I was late again, but I think that you were late leaving Barton Stacey, and I passed by while you were there. Will try harder this time...

David Dallimore(Naranto) will be attending. There are some items of literature etc he can bring along with him which belonged to a member who sadly passed away recently which are up for grabs. More details here:

http://gwsforum.proboards.com/thread/24 ... ature-sale

All monies raised will go to the RNLI.

See you all there! :)

Yes, I think that's what threw me last time. We were sitting in a lay-by just past the A338 junction watching various likely suspects going past in dribs and drabs, then finally threw in the towel and headed west.
Barton Stacey is quite a run in the wrong direction from here, but if I knew when the group was departing from there, I'd have time to head for Cholderton to tag on to the back end of the parade.

I've just heard that there is not going to be a Saturday evening meal, due to the fact that the Mill is fully booked by a Wedding.

Are any of the group who are over-nighting in the Yeovil area, planning to meet on Saturday evening to dine or have a drink or five??

if so let me know by E mail.
andydeans3, then gmail dot com

I will cancel the B&B I have near the Mill, and find somewhere to stay in Yeovil.

Andy
