After seeing that auto express survey thing, I was drawn to their special offer which was 6 issues and a toolkit for a quid.

Looking further into it you don't have to get Autoexpress but can get either the 'Evo' magazine or the classic cars version 'Octane' but only 3 copies of these as they are monthly. I've set it up and as it's DD I can just cancel it on my internet banking.

Links are

Octane

Evo

Autoexpress

Which one did you go for? I got Evo. It says to write in before the end of the trial though, so I;d set a reminder for 2 months.

I can't seem to see any qualifiers for the free gift? Do you get it for taking up the offer, and canceling at the end of the trial, or do you get it when you continue with the £19.99 subscription??

Maybe a daft question, but T&C's seem lacking for this offer?? They may be further into the process than the offer page, but I've not gone that far yet?

Just do the one that says 3/6 issues for a £1 and you'll get the gift and then cancel within that time.

The missis has that exact toolkit (in pink  ) and it's actually suprisingly rugged - despite my best efforts I've yet to break any of them

Gone for Octane, if its any good I might keep the subscription on. Always liked Practical Classics specially when they were giving away Draper Torque Wrenches.
