Watching endless re-runs of 'Big Bang Theory'; I note Leonard drives a 9-5 and drinks Newcastle Brown. Made me wonder what Saab owners drink. It can't all be swedish lager. My personal favourites are; Wychwood Hobgoblin, Banks Reverend James and Wye Valley Butty Bach.

My own :)

Still a sucker for Banks' Bitter. Black sheep, Doombar and Bombardier are all good.

The alcoholic kind...
Heavy by choice (that's Bitter for you southerner types) a 70/- or 80/- normally goes down a treat.
Do like asian lagers though - Asahi, Tiger, Cobra, Tsing Tao, Singha etc

Peroni or San Miguel but do like some of the local brewery ales of which there are quite a few within walking distance.

I'm only here for the beer! BRILLIANT idea for a thread

In the UK...
Greene King Special IPA
Innis & Gunn
One of my mates in Wallsend was unusually pleased to see me after my notorious 'Why Sunderland sucks' outburst... he bought me a bottle of 'Workie Ticket' (good!)

Down Under...
Crown Lager
Boag's Premium
Tooheys

Far East...
Anchor Beer
Tiger Beer (although some of the stuff I see on shelves here appears to be from China rather than Singapore)
Saigon Export

USA
Bud

Not commonly known... I'm often referred to as 'Mr Merrydown' due to a legendary fondness for that cider.

Cider, cider, cider. Especially the stuff that comes from Stoke Gabriel Devon. Brother in law lives there, used to make it but handed the orchard over to family/friends. It's sneaky, goes down like fruit juice and creeps up behind you with a sledgehammer to the back of the head before you know it, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
