Saabsunited?
NOBODY HAS MENTIONED IT ON HERE, I must remember to PM folks, of whom I know not, in the future, all the time in case of pending events I may miss?
I bet the Volvo guys knew way back when.
Late? Some of us have plans past tomorrow. Frankly, another

up afaics.
Almost as eloquent as your PM to me Mr Casson. Now where's that smiley of yours... ah yes here it is
Frankly, if you think what you said by PM is appropriate to say to another UKS member behind closed doors, then why not just say it here on the open forum? I'll leave it up to you to decide whether an apology is relevant.
Anyway, back to your problem.
People
have mentioned it on here, or did you miss Sgould's post a few up from this?
As for not knowing the folks to PM, RobinM and Fiverankins (alex) are the guys who organise the event. All I was suggesting was, that since this is an annual event (often held around the same time, helpfully!) that you could have asked at the start of the year when you were organising your filofax what date Swedish day was, since you are presumably keen to show off the V4. Could have been done on the open forum, or with a PM to the guys who organise the event - if you didn't know who they were a question on the forum (or even a search) would no doubt have sufficed.
And as it's two Saab guys who organise the event, I doubt the Volvo guys knew before the "Saab guys". You also have to remember, that the people who pull together to put on this (free) show do it all in their own time, purely for the love of it. So I guess sometimes their family lives, social lives (like yours) and other commitments (for example Alex is the c900 registrar for the SOC and Robin a contributor to Saabsunited - that's a massive Saab website you seem not to be aware of by the way, despite it being referred to on here often) get in the way of promoting their event in a manner you see as timely.
And its definitely not a screw up, as Swedish day (in my personal experience) is usually incredibly well attended, with hundreds of cars and trucks making their way to the event from accross the world. A lot of those in attendance do not spend all of their time on here either. I have plans past tomorrow, in fact I have plans throughout the year. For example I have a wedding to attend in Scotland the weekend of the national , and despite knowing the date of the SOC event first, I will be up north being an usher for a good friend. It's not a problem, it's about priorities. If your plans for the Swedish day weekend are important to you or someone else, then you should continue with your plans - that's your priority after all. If not, come to Swedish day, and show off the car you have restored.
I for one will be at Swedish Day, on the assumption nothing else comes up in between. I'm actually looking forward to it.
