Far be it for me to find a fault :argh:

Maybe you could save band stuff by not putting cars that haven't changed hands the next time the owner decides to

punt them out!

I haven't seen most of the picks. I would suspect that quite a few cars have popped up quite a few times.....

That would cut a lot of fun out though, wouldn't it???

Back to the shrinking supply of lugers methinks!!

Or should I run a "Poll" or two???

Which is the most common "Pick" From good old Brooklands!

:corn: :corn:

I think it's Brooklands' policy to ignore any other comment in these threads and just post up more car ads. :?

Don't worry, it'll all go quiet by the end of this week for a good while as school holidays start.

What happened to the old thread anyway ? Did it get too big for the forum ? :D

Maybe if 'brooklands' grouped links on one page for each 'post burst' that would slow things down a bit.

Not sure if that would make much difference as I am not a 'computermerbubble' expert but it would cut the amount of pages down.

20 posts per page, with single links it does not take long to fill a page.

It also makes it easier to to flick through the posts and searchout previous posts.

But I think I have suggested that before and been totally ignored

After all its not about the post count

Or is it  :corn:

How about a stickied post which can be continuously edited with all cars catalogued by model/year etc ? So if you were looking for a 900 or whatever you could go to the same post and see what's listed in the 900's section ?

Oh, I forgot, you can already do that on Autotrader... Image Image

I think the thread is useful and many have probably found cars through this thread as most of the classified sites are covered.
But with post after post you may as well just do a one make search on ebay or the other classified sites.

I have been just as guilty as 'Brooklands' in the past (maybe not as prolific because I do not get as much free time during working hours ).
But I have been trying to slow it down in the past few months

I sent him a message yesterday, no response so far.

Just curious as are many in SAAB circles as to why this car keeps going up in price everytime it is re listed? I seem to recall you were willing to accept £4995 at one time which is probably closer to its true value in the current climate. Some of the more expensive specialists have reduced their asking prices substantially, maybe with a more realistic price you would get a sale but your current yo yo pricing will probably continue to put many off even looking.

And re-listed here, at the same price. The fact it only achieved £1550 in an auction a week or so ago doesn't appear to have put him off, in fact the price is steadily going up! :loco:

You'll get some snotty message back mate, he'll be barking on about his 'specialist' value etc etc. I doubt he'll have much to say about the actual state of it though. I might chuck a sneaky £2.5k offer in?

I was going to ask him a sarcastic question about it's ever increasing value Ian, till I noticed that ebay now send your contact details (full name and telephone number) when you ask a question about something

Nice looking 96 two stroke, blatantly copied the idea from my car but (if it wasn't in the other thread) it looks lovely.....
