I in my 9000 had a short but fast convoy up the M5 this morning with an early-ish (W-reg) 9-5. It looked good in cosmic blue, just like my old '98 9-5.

K plate grey 9000 aero on the A48M in Cardiff at 9:15 or so. I was behind him up to the where the A48 joins the A48M, he then came off at the Pentwyn junction in very heavy traffic and obviously rejoined it further behind me. (my guess was an attempt to use the clear junction as a way of leapfrogging some of the traffic by coming off and rejoining) He then obviously proceeded to come off again at the next junction (Llanedeyrn) and come back on again, this time straight down the hard shoulder which is a dedicated bus lane and then off yet again at the junction with the A4232 which is the junction I come off at. I then ended up going past it on the fly over where the driver had evidently managed to smack the drivers side mirror off on the side of a box van.

There I was thinking wow, I haven't seen a 9000 on the road in ages, and it looks like it's in pretty good condition too. If you were driving like a prat because you were running late, then remember the tortoise and the hare. Better to run a little late than to run the risk of never arriving at all.

Got overtaken by a lovely 9-5 Aero heading back from Grantown on Spey to Inverness. He came up quick, had a look and cruised on by, flashing the hazards

M4 near Windsor at 12:30pm today. Late 2011 ? 9-5 Saloon on hard shoulder broken down.
Right behind it, an older 9-5 Estate pulled over and assisting.

Was nice to see Saab owners still assisting other Saab owners.

'74 surely? 1994 would be a Blenheim. Mine's a 1969 410.

You are correct. '74. A serious senior moment. All too common these days.
