:D

I think it said "The night before" on the lid..

Maybe someone robbed the contents. I was busy so I didn't hang around to investigate.

I looked at asda online.

It would appear that you have to pay £2 for an empty box. You can then pay extra for all sorts of guff for your little ones to open on Christmas Eve.

I am working in the wrong job. I am also living the wrong life. This is BAD!

Next year, I expect asda to sell the night before the night before boxes.

Where are we heading?

god i miss an inglenook fire im 6ft 3 and i could stand in it easy
we had a tree surgeon 5 doors down who tipped us off as much wood as we could burn free

being male and having a big fire and free wood living the dream did well to not burn down the 200 year old cottage first week we moved in i had the chimney swept

gas boilers are rubbish no fun at all

I would imagine it's to cater for those who let their kids open one present on Christmas Eve, or those who traditionally open all their gifts on Christmas Eve. To be fair, they are colourful and funky boxes and would be a nice gift for kids if you put lots of little prezzies inside.

Our car got written off last week so our 'gift' this year is to find a few grand for a new motor lol. Looked at a 2013 Polo this morning. Seem like nice cars.

German tradition of the present the evening before. Usually with new pyjamas, slippers and a book to read.

The box is no different to paying for a gift bag? Pay the premium as you don’t have to wrap it

I mean, I'm all for disciplining kids, but that seems harsh tbh - and it'll take ages to get any meaningful heat out of a small child, even a fat one.

Christmas Eve boxes Si! We have them for our two nippers, we fill them with a sachet of Hot Choc, some new PJ's, letter back from Santa and a book. Keeps them quiet after they've opened them so i don't mind this 'Fad'
