In his absence I would venture that it is a Grinnall Scorpion. Water cooled K series (BMW) engine.

I realised you posted the picture Ian. I misread your post and thought you were asking Dave what make the three wheeler was. Sorry for the confusion.

who cares the right colours
if F was at the front eg 1989 1990 then probably a replica

surely nobody would use a real one on the road the way people drive
some of the replicas are good most not so much

i think they should all be race reps looking like theyve done some fighting

not totally sparkly and shiny and polished to the max just my opinion of course

my mum had a celica in that exact 2 tone hers had better alloys though good car it was 250 quid if i remember rightly

Nope. F at the end.
If it wasn't the real thing (and it's hard to imagine why anybody would want to drive a real one on public roads these days), I'm puzzled as to what it could have been based upon to get that reg.

thats not leaning son you wanna go in an accadien they proper lean with some weight in the back
we drove 2cvs all the way to italy and back
all 4 cars cost under 600 pound total
not one breakdown even going up the mountain for what felt like 4 days
damn they can rev forever
going down was a bit hairy at times

i just saw a sunbeam alpine in faded anglia blue and it had a parker knoll chair tied upside down on the boot lid

What's an Accadien Dave?
Was you doing a car rally or something?
Driving the 2CV's to Italy and back..?
Do they have drum brakes all round......?

I actually can't take credit for that pic, my Sister sent it to me and she is called Sharon.
I just cropped it a bit.
