It was orange predictably. The owner wasn’t though! He just looked like he was enjoying himself.

Well, you know. What happens in a bright orange three wheeler with no doors in Essex, probably doesn’t stay in a bright orange three wheeler with no doors in Essex!
He had a grin that would have shamed a Cheshire Cat, presumably because he was having a good time. It was very windy though.we were near Canvey Island where there is a lot more orange.

A couple of weekends ago at an NT house in Romsey.

1977 model V8 Vantage in metallic blue
1928 Bentley 4 1/2 in black.

I spoke with the owner of the Bentley, he'd owned it for 65 years. He bought it as a student, because it was cheap! It's worth north of 300k now, but still gets used as his regular car!

I've always had a soft spot for Bentleys of that era due to a story book I had as a kid (my daughter has it now) which had a story about Bertie the Bentley. The thing that struck me most seeing one up close for the first time is that you'd have to be really good friends with your passenger, it looked really small inside for such a large car outside.
