So today I realised I was driving around on illegal tyres like a real genius....lucky enough I had a set of wheels with good tyres in the garage from my ng900

Image

I really like the look of the 3 spokes on the 9-5 and I hate the wheels it had on originally, car needs lowering soon I hate the massive arch gap

Only drama I had was one random locking wheel bolt that I wasn't supplied the key to lol never mind I hammered a 17mm impact socket onto it and it buzzed off

So what have you guys been up to

Continued the very slow refurb of my c900 alloys by sanding the filler and doing a couple of coats of primer on one of them.

Yesterday:
nothing car releated. should have done tho.

put computer monitors on new 4 monitor stand.

re-assembled very expensive laptop, with freed up desk space.

Today:

I plan to fix the seat belt and finish brake lines in the 9000

I was starting to get really fed up with the state of the Rear Valance. It has really faded to a streaky gray. So yesterday I cleaned it up and sprayed it matt black, using Plastidip. Turned out really well.

got the brake lines done today.

Still need to replace the return connector for the fuel pump line and refit the tank. (Came in for a google)

Had some very low mileage aero shocks dropped off to replace the 190k mile old ones in mine.

Eldest son, his fiancée and their dog were up from Reading as there was a family wedding on Saturday.

First time we have all been together in over 18 months as my youngest son has recently returned from working in China.

Either side of the wedding there was lots of catching up to do and there were three dogs to excercise, so no time for cars this weekend.

Fitted new battery to the TE - the one that came with it was only 60Ah...seems a bit on the low side to me!
That's now demoted to "spare and test duties only".

Replacement is a Duracell one - 5yr warranty, 680CCA 74Ah for £63. Seems pretty competitive.
