Slightly OT:
I had to change the battery on my c900 as it was flat a few weeks ago. The car had been unused for almost 5 weeks so there´s a good chance there´s nothing wrong with the battery. It´s originally from my 9-3 convertible. I put it into the 900 when the convertible went into hiding for the winter and it was working perfectly then.
I´d hate to throw it away since it´s probably fully functional for some time longer. It´s a 58Ah "SAAB original" and fits at least 900/9-3 and C900s.
If anybody wants it and buys me a pint or so it can come on the trip and get a new home :)

I wouldn't mind that battery, Patrik. Mine is a little over-sized (and 68Ah) and butts up right against the turbo elbow. I can certainly give it a go, charging it up.

Yay! Good work tubbo ... are you joining the convoy? I think the easiest for you is to trolley up the M1, A1 and meet us at the St James Retail Park meeting place.

Apologies chaps, somethings come up and I won't get back to Sheffield until at least midday on saturday, so I'll have to give this a miss.

Sorry,

  well thats put a big dent in the Sheffield Massive  just as the weather forecast is improving as well (Sunny intervals now :D ) Fingers crossed for a top down day. Can't wait to see the tall guys, Orca and Valentine getting buffetted in the back of Debbos rag top, as they stoically deny any discomfort

Looking good chaps!

Depending on what is happening at home, we're going to try and make it to the retail park for the drive

Ok then, who is bringing what?!

I'm torn between the fuel economy of my 9-3 or the boostacular fun of the 9K Aero, decision decisions! :?

First priority, bring yourself and Mim. :)

As the Met Office has just positioned a big yellow sun over Whitby for tomorrow, it will be a top down C900 day for us.
Orca and crew are I believe coming in their newly aquired C900 rag top, Tubbo has a rag top in his extensive Saab stable and there is an outside chance of a C900 rag top coming over from Lancashire.
So Scotty open air motoring; choose which of your cars to take the angle grinder to
To be selfish I'd rather have a gander at your 9K than the 93

Weather Stations!

Slick, there is one for Leeds *(on my office in Roundhay) and there is one for Whitby too! that means you can get at the moment accurate weather (these things cost thousands of £££)

Its very cool!

I just wish our c900 ragtop was in a fit state. I've never seen a car with so many alarm systems! Plus the 9-3 needs tidying up as someone has given my front bumper a new look :?

Could that be Jack by any chance?

Double post from above so here is another....

I also wish the 99T had an exhaust that wasn't blown and was MOT otherwise that'd have been first choice.
I'm glad lots of C900 are going! 8)
