Could somebody help me please,
I love Lyme Regis and have spent far to many hours walking/ fishing and general sea gazing.
My problem is the webcams of lyme on internet explorer 11 will expand to full page,
BUT on Bing and Chrome when going to full screen they don't.
is it my computers (3) or me.
2 computers run win7 one win 8.1
Tried various flash setting, up dating, still the same.

Just tried it on my own PC (running a flavour of Linux). I don't use Flash at all, yet on Chromium and Firefox I see the images so I would say first of all that Flash isn't required.
On Firefox I can expand it to full-screen. On Chromium (the non-Google, open-source version of Chrome) I try to expand it and it goes back to normal-size. So I would say that it is probably an issue with Chrome/Chromium and not with your PC.
I'm not sure what you mean about Bing, since Bing is a search-engine, not a browser. Do you mean Microsoft Edge? If so, I believe it is very closely related to Chrome underneath so perhaps it has the same issue that causes Chrome not to expand the image.

It appears to be working fine for me on Firefox. Expands to fullscreen just fine too.

MS Edge does react as described though. Video is fine, but won't go to full-screen.

OK for Firefox/Win7 on my desktop PC.
Chrome browser on the same PC expands to full screen but just black with a "Play" button in the middle, which, when clicked, returns to the webpage.

Oops sorry Bill, yes meant Edge not bing.

Oh well will have to stay on IE 11,
its annoying having to open up multiple browsers.

Thanks all for the help.
Kind regards Pete.

IE11 is becoming obsolete. If I had to stick with only one browser and Firefox was the only current browser that did what I wanted then I'd stick with Firefox.
And Firefox doesn't tell Google or Microsoft everything you're doing. It's all personal preference, though.

Will not open full screen on my PC eitehr in Chrome.

I spent all my Holidays in LR too until 1979, as my mums uncle owned the gables hotel https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.72587 ... 384!8i8192

Love the place.

I was there when watching the Wessex S&R helicopter came down in the bay when doing a demo...

It might be worthwhile getting in touch with the website and telling them about the problem. In the meantime you could try this camera.

Edge is just Chrome under the hood now so the issue must be with how Chrome / Chromium is written.

I have used Firefox happily for years. Very occasionally I need Edge for something but it's quite rare.

Or some non-compliance in the code on the web-page that Firefox happens to let it get away with but Chromium doesn't.

Thank you very much Derek, never seen this before.
Why when looking for webcams you can never find them?
