The advert says "incredibly rare, and the last of its kind on UK roads", that may be correct but I have one in the exact same spec and age on SORN but in the even more rare magenta brown. I just wish it was in the condition of this one. It is stunning.

Mind you I suppose I could use the £4650 I saved in the purchase of mine to bring it to this condition. :D

It is a tad ambitious on the price.

So second seller & eBay seller are probably one and the same.

It's a lovely, lovely thing! However, £5k is probably £2.5k too much at least.

Aside from the black reg plates and incorrectly placed 9000 badge (right?) it looks stunning.

If I had the money to make a sensible offer I would. I suspect my idea of a sensible offer would be refused given my comment above though!

SAAB were known to be quite random with the badging on various models back then.

But normally ''9000 CDS'' would be top right opposite the SAAB badge and the 2.3 badge would be on the boot bottom right.

C900 SC 2dr, red. This one was advertised on C&C a few months back for £1k or offers and was snapped up very quickly.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-900-2-0 ... SwUIle-1Bo

Its been tidied up a bit, but £5k+ is still a hefty mark up.

That ebay advert is the most verbose and hyperbolic bs I've read for quite a while.

I'd be checking for my watch, wallet and braces on my trews if I stood next to the writer.

I would agree, I am aiming to limit the total spend on mine including purchase price to less than £1000.

It isn't only time that has warped. That front bumper is a bit out of shape too.
I've seen that same (or similar) drivel recently in another Ebay ad for a classic 900. I recognise a couple of the phrases. It must have been mentioned here as I don't look at Ebay Saab adverts otherwise.

Unsurprisingly, for £2k, it is sold.
